Hopewell Developments has applied to change the land use designation in the area shown on the above.
The details of the application can be found on the City of Calgary Development Permits map and you can submit feedback to the City of Calgary there as well until August 14.
Hopewell will also be holding a virtual neighbour’s meeting on August 19, 7-8:30pm. To get the link to attend this meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (403) 692-5234.
Please take this opportunity to learn more about this application and provide feedback to the City of Calgary, the developers and/or the Copperfield-Mahogany Community Association.
*CMCA asked the City about the date discrepancy between the deadline for submissions and the public information night, and this was the response:
Currently, the application is on hold waiting for a response from the applicant, so timelines are dependent on when the applicant responds.
City staff will be open to accepting comments on the land use redesignation application until after the open house, and more specifically until the report to the Calgary Planning Commission is due. Nevertheless, it is preferable and more actionable to submit input sooner, rather than later.
Following the Calgary Planning Commission meeting, written input can be sent to Council in the weeks ahead of the public hearing and people will have an opportunity to speak directly to Council during the public hearing.
